Volunteer with Village12 in the Dominican Republic!

We are looking for skilled volunteers to help us work on our ongoing projects. us start a permaculture farm, build and install latrines and design a health education program for people living in Muñoz, Dominican Republic. With the help of international volunteers, our strategy is designed to cost-effectively improve the living conditions of Muñoz, Dominican Republic.

How much does it cost?

Volunteers must cover their own travel, food and lodging expenses. They also must buy and show proof of health insurance. We recommend volunteers stay at our base camp at SuncampDR. The rustic accommodations at SuncampDR include wi-fi internet, hot water, flushing toilets and an on-site restaurant called Papaguyo (Parakeet). Lodging costs $75/week and $200/month. We are also located 10 minutes from several grocery stores in Puerta Plata. To read more about SuncampDR and their lodging facilities, go to www.suncampDR.com.

We recommend buying health insurance from worldnomads.com, allaboardbenefits.com, travelguard.com or travelmedicalinsurance.com. You can buy by week or month with them and runs about $50 a month for the bare minimum. We ask you are at least covered for emergency medical.
